  • What is Integrative Medicine

Integrative Health starts with fostering a trusting relationship between the patient and provider. It begins in the present but includes looking back into the past and forward into the future. It takes into account the whole person (mind, body, and soul) investigating to find the root causes of disease/symptoms, and empowers and supports each individuals innate ability to heal through lifestyle changes, supplements and medical interventions when needed.

  • Do you offer diagnostic testing?

Yes. We offer a variety of testing to support our patients needs.

    EKGs

We offer EKGs for our patients to assess their cardiac status.

    Saliva Testing

We use saliva hormone testing for patients with infertility or women before and during menopause. We also used saliva hormone testing to diagnose adrenal fatigue.  Adrenal fatigue can cause a variety of symptoms include inability to get up in the morning, high levels of fatigue, inability to handle stress, cravings for salty foods and a weakened immune system.  If you feel as though you may be suffering from adrenal fatigue please ask to schedule an appointment with one of our practitioners to find out your options.

    Stool Testing

We use stool testing to assess a patient’s digestive health. These tests can measure the levels of good bacteria, any bacteria that should not be there, as well as yeast and parasites.  This test will also give us information regarding your ability to digest your food and absorb nutrients from your food.  IgA levels measured by these tests can give us some information about food allergies and leaky gut.  This testing can be very valuable when our patients are suffering from autism, depression, arthritis, chronic sinusitis, chronic fatigue, and many others chronic illnesses. Please ask for more information.

    Lab Work

We do blood testing in our office to help our patients with various health concerns.  We screen for cardiac risk factors like high cholesterol and homocysteine.  We screen for diabetes and thyroid diseases, as well as vitamin and mineral deficiencies.  We offer competitive prices for our cash paying patients and our lab accepts all insurances.  We can schedule your lab work in conjunction with your appointment with a practitioner or we may have you come in a week before your visit.

    Other Testing

We offer other testing on an as needed basis but the above testing options are our most common.
